Web Prophets develops the
Arts Project Australia website
Just launched the Arts Project Australia website has a great online space that supports people with disabilities to become practitioners in the visual arts. The website helps promote upcoming exhibitions, artworks for sales as well as studio practice. The website was developed with the assistance of the Sidney Myer Foundation.
Design, development and content management system for the website.
Result:
Designed and developed by Web Prophets, The
St Kilda Village website uses a powerful Open Source Content
Management System which allows the association to maintain
their own website. The website was created to promote a healthy
and vibrant access point for both local traders and the community.
Some of the websites' main features include:
- an online forum for the sharing of news and views in the area
- a business directory that lists all of the businesses trading
in the area
- a members area for the local traders
- an events section that highlights everything that is happening in the area
Local traders can log into the ‘traders area’ and make changes to their directory listing and special offers on the website, submit items to the Latest News section as well as access information such as a local address book; association agendas, minutes, reports and newsletters.
The collaboration between Web Prophets and the SKVTG
has motivated an online focus point to do positive community based
work in the St Kilda area including the launch of www.savestkilda.org.au -
a site dedicated to the protest over the Triangle Development down
on the St Kilda foreshore.
