Web Prophets needed to meet particular challenges when developing the website for both the consumer and also our client.

For the consumer we needed to:

• design a website that was user friendly and easy to navigate
• make it easy and appealing to buy online
• incorporate digital purchases which occur offsite on the Bigpond and iTunes online stores
• display a large amount of product on the homepage without becoming too cluttered.

For TMO we needed to:

• create a CMS which was easy to update and maintain inhouse with staff who do not have strong web skills
• develop a system to track stock levels and deliver sales reports automatically
• create a website with strong SEO inclusions to assist with Search Engine Optimisation techniques
• Provide an email broadcast program which allows TMO to send their own campaigns and track statistical feedback on a campaign by campaign basis

We delivered all of the above requirements as well as developing a website which is easily expandable to meet future requirements. The CMS we developed for TMO integrates with Web Prophets Etools Enews Manager allowing customers to ‘subscribe’ online. The instant they make a purchase, the subscriber instantly is assigned to the ‘customer’ group within Enews Manager thereby being eligible for special emails designed for repeat business. Additionally when a customer makes a purchase Enews Manager records the artist and the genre (country, children’s music etc) in the customer record, allowing TMO to send out email campaigns which are targeted to customers specific interests.

Web Prophets also hosts the TMO website on one of our web servers located in the Melbourne CBD. Moving forward, TMO has a one stop phone call for any web, email and hosting requirements. This allows TMO the peace of mind to focus on their business knowing we are only a phone call away.
